How does cristian people deal with before marriage?

ok so im cristian and my boyfriend is not we've been together for a year and 2 months and we haven't had . he really wants to and i do to at times but i know if i do it would be considered a sin..bu i also know that god always forget no matter what so if i do do it i know he would forget me so i don't know if i should do it or not..HELP PLEASE!
