my daughter did the same thing. i think it had to do with the texture. once she got used to it she was fine. remember, the food we eat is probably more filling than pureed foods so it won't take as much of it to fill her up. and she won't go hungry. babies don't starve themselves. eventually she will eat what you give her. try bits of fruit. it might be easier for her if its a familiar taste.

I am having an amnio today to check and see if my daughter's lungs are developed. I am scheduled for a c-section in two days. Why my friend is avoiding me?

This is karthi from chennai and i have completed my 12th standard. Actually, i had a friend named vijay, when i was studying 8th standard. We both were in the same cl. We were very best friends. But in our school, they used to seperate the cles every year. So, we went to different cles. So, i was unable to have contact with him. Actually he want in hins car to the particular friend's house. We had a great day. At the afternoon, he took me to many shopping malls in his car and we were anjoying a lot. I felt he had much more affection on me. It was really true. It was on 22nd of this month. He said that he was going to his native to leave his parents there and he would return back to chennai the same day. On 25th evening he called me and said that he was going to his native with his family and asked me to join him. But the journey takes two days. So, i said , my parents wont let me da. He too accepted. When i called him the next day , he said, " please dont speak with me da, because im a bad boy, my character is not good, you must take care of your carrer, you must read well, you must succeed in your life, your career should not get spoiled because of me, dont waste your time speaking with me". I replied, "dont speak like a mental" and asked , when will u return back for which he replied, " I will return only after 3 months". But i love him very much. He is not attending my calls. I want him back again. He is not attending my call for the past two days and even today, I dont know , what to do? My heart is paining alot. Till this day, none of my friends except him , thought about my betterment. So, i dont want to miss him in my life. Iam crying a lot, i cannot do anything. I want him back again. What shall i do? Skirt making help please?

You will have to make a longer bodice down to the hips. The skirt part is gathered from the hip and not the waist. From the sides of your hip front and around to the front again to the other hip side it looks gathered but not a lot. Just enough to feel comfort and not a fully gathered skirt. Then in the front right you will cut a gore as it is shown and on left front you will cut a gore. Sew those pieces onto to the gathered back sides matching the right to the right and left to the left. Now I am just eye balling it and not certain if you're doing a hem or not but you will also have to insert a small center piece for the opening if you like. Or leave it as a peek a boo look. Sometimes I use patterns from a couple patterns to make my own original so you might try that idea too. Hope this turns out nice for you and Good Luck

The understanding was that if I chose to leave the company within 12 months, I would pay back the bonus. This could be very serious. I think the problem is mainly to do with competition from the pup and she's making sure it knows that she's dominant but do you want to take the risk. I would advise getting help from a dog trainer. It doesn't have to be private as I realise that can be expensive but if you join an obedience cl the trainer should address any issues that you have and offer help and advise! Please help, had NT scan and combined blood test yesterday and its come back 'HIGH RISK' for Downs Syndrome?

Those tests come up with A LOT of false positives and my doctor actually advised me against getting them. But I am only 23 and probably at the lowest risk for having a Down Syndrome baby that I will ever be in my life. The way he explained it to me was that at my age, the risks of complications arising due to the amniocentesis testing outweigh the actual risk of me having a baby with this condition. The crappy thing is, you've already gotten the "positive" result from the initial tests, so if you don't have further testing done, you're going to be a nervous wreck for the whole rest of your pregnancy, probably needlessly. That's why I decided to forego those tests. Do whatever will put your mind at ease, but be sure and research the risks involved with amniocentesis.

My house it to cold!?

This will be our first winter in our new house. It has been bitterly cold here in NYC for the past few days. I have my thermostat set at 75 when we come home at night which is usually around 6pm. Nickel wound strings they don't rust. They probably are acoustic strings because they shouldn't be bronze in color, they should be silver for electric. Its harder to play with acoustic strings, its stiffer. Size 9 but I use 10's on my Gibson it gives a better bottom end sound.

The version of windows used on the PC is Windows XP Home Edition. The viruses prevent me from downloading software from the internet that has to do with removing viruses. I transferred many antivirus software programs from another computer to the infected PC. So far I tried most of the free antivirus/anti-malware software available: AVG, A-Squared, avast!, Ad-Aware, Avira, and Spyware Doctor. Some of the antivirus programs failed to work because the viruses stopped them from accessing the internet to get updated. Other antivirus programs, Ad-Aware by Lavasoft and AVIRA, recognized the viruses and allowed me to click the delete on, but a message came up that the viruses can only be deleted by restarting the computer. After restarting the computer, the viruses were still there. I scanned the PC with Avira, and after scanning for hidden malware, it showed me the names of the bundled trojans located in C:\windows\system32\drivers\tdssmqlt.sys… Some of the trojans in the bundle are TR/Agent.439, TR/Crypt.ZPACK.Gen, and TR/Rootkit.Gen to name three out of about six trojans shown by Avira. The trojan viruses are also hidden. I tried searching my PC in the location in the C drive to delete them, and I was unable to locate them. Now, what should I do to get rid of the trojan viruses after all of my failed attempts at removing them?

My penger side floorboards are wet, any ideas?

I have a '91 Mercury Tracer that I bought February of 2010. I had the engine replaced last summer, and the car has been pretty good ever since, until now. I noticed my floorboards being wet on my penger side near the end of winter, but chalked it up to melted snow off of my pengers shoes. I thought nothing of it until after spring cleaning my car. I've been home from college since December '08 (it's now april 6th) and within that time I've rarely gone out to seek any type of outside interaction. Apart from that I've got a total of two people I'd consider friends and I rarely see them (once since I've come home) and this doesn't bother me... at all. In the few times I have gone out I've just felt alienated and I'd either make an excuse to leave or just venture inward and think nostalgic thoughts or future scenarios that're too far-fetched to ever come true. I tend to watch people a lot when in a public situation, I think people are really interesting in nature, but I just find them boring to talk to. My parents think I'm extremely apathetic and lazy--I do sleep a lot, but it is sort of my sanctuary from the outside world. I guess what worries me is this all started back at college when I stopped going to cles, instead I'd stay in my apartment and read or sleep until the late afternoon. I've even lost my job due to these problems. I guess my question is is this behavior 'normal'? I'm just curious, I don't really care to rekindle any relationships or create new ones. - Cheers

It is possible with no effects to the fish or quality of the water. I started making my own cichlid hideouts because the ones you find for sale are over priced and just not the style that I liked. I have made my own out of Sculpey clay and after baking put the clay hideouts in a tank with NO fish for several months and then tested the water. Everything was perfect!! Now my cichlid tank is full of vey happy cichlids with my own style of hideouts for each one. Just thought I would share to the ones that think that this is not possible.

Can a 1911 have a flash suppressor installed on it?

Yes, any competent gunsmith can do this. Before you spend money on that I would try some different ammo. I have shot my 1911, and various Glocks in the dark regularly in training and have never noticed the muzzle flash. When watching other shooters I can see a dim flash that doesn't seem to bother anyone. You can see more muzzle flash when using a PVS-14, but it is still not bad. My S&W .357 Magnum on the other hand has very impressive flash, but certainly not "blinding".

A friend of mine lives in a house where a probation search on another tenant (who is a probationer) was conducted. Before the PO's and police went inside, it was clearly explained to them about what is common area and what is the probationer's area, and what is private area. There were many witnesses to this. When the police went inside, it was as if they had not heard a single word that was said. The police opened all doors, popping their heads into private rooms. My friend was in the room and there was a paraphernalia device on the bed. He felt obligated to say it was his and not get the homeowner in trouble whom it actually belonged to. They then searched the entire room and found a very small usable amount ($10) in her dresser. He claimed this as well and is being charged with possession of a controlled substance. The Public Defender told him that if he did not plead guilty, he could be looking at 6 years or more if found guilty. He believes he was railroaded into pleading guilty for prop 36 instead of not guilty and taking a chance at such a meager amount that was gotten from conducting their search in a known private area. They claimed to understand very clearly just moments before they totally ignored the limitations of the warrant. They were even told they were going into private areas while they were doing it. They just sort of smiled and stuck their heads in anyway. There were many witnesses to this also. I have been told that they will just lie and say they were given permission to fully search, but their were at least 3 witnesses that will say the truth of what really happened. Does my friend have and recourse in reversing his plea and claiming not guilty since the search was highly illegal?

My three month old kitten has a very wet sound when she breathes?

She was on twice daily antibiotics for two weeks, and is on twice daily L-Lysine for her immune system, but she still sounds like her lungs are full of fluid. She is quite active, playing with her brother and our dog (her best friend), but sleeps very deeply, almost stops breathing. No one seems to know what is going on, including our vet. OLYMPUS Professional Photographers and friends please help?

I have Olympus gear. The FL-36 is a nice flash unit, especially if you put it on a flash bracket and pick it up off the camera, it works really well. The camera for you is a big big big problem. I have an E-510 and I damn sure wouldn't shoot any wedding for money, especially not one that's not outside during the day. My Olympus is wonderful outside. It does almost better than my Nikon. However in low light, its virtually helpless. Its the biggest knock I have against it. If it gets to the point where you NEED the flash that badly, it will be a more effective paperweight than a camera. You really do not want to shoot anything over ISO 200 unless absolutely necessary. Its not that you have a crappy camera, its just really not suited for the conditions or for professional type work in general. Good Luck!

The thing with Italian food is that it can be called whatever you want it to. If it's a seafood dish with chili flakes in a tomato based sauce you can call it a bunch of different things. You could call it an arrabiatta (which is a spicy tomato based sauce), you can also call it Fra Diavolo, Cioppino (with some more seafood added in), Pesce Pomodoro, or Pomodoro Tonno (Tuna in Italian), etc.... The thing with Italian food is that it is mostly named after the ingredients inside or after the region it's made it. You can have the same ingredients, and the same dish but it will be referred to as two different dishes based on where you are. With eggplant in it you can use the name Mellanzane (eggplant in Italian) and come up with your own unique name and make it your own.

Does anyone else here think Icarly sucks?

Icarly is the most stupidest show that I have ever seen. The show just sucks. None of their jokes are funny at all yet that have that dumb laugh track (you can easily tell its a laugh track) on every 5 seconds. I know what your thinking, its a kids show, its not aim for teens. I know but have you seen this ******* show. They said , they've shown fake s, they've mention (two squirrels "wrestling", beaver and raccon "socializing", just because you try to censored it doesn't meant they won't figure it out at some point or that parents won't understand what that means.) and they even said the word hobbnoker (not to be confuse with hobnobb when its automatically spelled check corrects it.) do you know what that means, I have look it up, at first it says "cool but geeky" but I realized that the spell check change it into hobnobbed. the meanings I got when spelled correctly I got, to slap a person with your () or to perform ual with an animal. (not sure if that is the real meaning but I made sure I spelled it right and I got links to animal site) Also the way they say it on the show as if it was a secret would make any kid with internet access look it up and there probably gonna find animal and get addicted to it. Next thing you know, two parents are gonna ask "why is the gerbil covered with white stuff", and the kid replies "because I tried to f***k it because I heard hobnocker on a kids show, look it up and I found and wanted to try it". Or a girl explaining to her boyfriend that she lost her virginity to her dog because of looking up hobnocker because of Icarly. It might be targeted toward kids but they are using some heavy artillery that their age can't handle (get it, targeting, shooting, gun) The show is also unrealistic. The show is pretty much about dating girls. Not to mention they don't even follow the proper guidelines of a web show as they announce their full names, their school, and I believed they also announce where they live in the show. Kids like to imitated shows they've seen so if they make a web show of their own (and thanks to youtube its possible for anyone with a camera) and they might announce where they live, their full names, and their school and they are probably thinking, "its okay, Icarly did it." Two days later they're abducted but a rapist. This also goes for the episode when they try to find Carly a date, if it was real, that line of kids would be replace by a line, of rapist and psychos. Also sam in the show shows kids that going to jail and having neglectful parents are fun, Well lets just say its all fun and games until you become someone's prison *****. Not mention she beats and bullies kids and carly and freddy don't do a thing showing kids that if you don't get what you want its ok to beat them up. Its illegal but kids don't know that better. Lastly they discriminate toward the homeless making fun of them. Its not all of their ******* fault since this economy sucks, people are losing their jobs and are becoming homeless. does any one agree with me. this show needs to be cancelled. I feel bad for this generation of kids today that they have to watch this crap. The shows they had in the 90s and early 2000 were so much better like Rugrats, Invader Zim, Angry Beavers, Cat & Dog, Hey Arnold and Doug (I know not all of them were great but is better then Icarly). Can I get my earnest money back? - Any Advice would help greatly!?

So here's the issue. I signed the contract to purchase a home and gave them a deposit check. This was many months ago. We are about to close soon and the underwriter folks approved of the loan, they asked for me to send the conditions to them in order to continue. Everything was going fine until last week, just when I was about to send them the final conditions, I had an emergency where I had to pull out the money that was supposed to be used to pay the down payment ...so now, I cannot afford the new house anymore. I talked to my sales manager, and he said that I will lose my deposit money because I was approved already. They didn't offer me any alternative solution as well loan-wise because I do not make enough and cannot survive if I do not put at least 20 percent down or get someone to co-sign. On the contract, it included a clause that permitted me to withdraw or cancel the contract if I am not approved. The mortgage commitment letter stated that the loan is contingent of the conditions. Since I didn't fulfill the requirements, how can they say that I was approved? Any input on this would be appreciated.

I'd like to lose about 5-7 lbs. It's been difficult though because i am in college and there aren't many healthy alternatives. My fridge is very small so I can't fit much fruit in it either. I exercise about 4 days a week, and i'll try to up that to 5. But other than that, I don't really eat too badly, just mindlessly. If anyone has any advice, that'd be great!
