Yes, any competent gunsmith can do this. Before you spend money on that I would try some different ammo. I have shot my 1911, and various Glocks in the dark regularly in training and have never noticed the muzzle flash. When watching other shooters I can see a dim flash that doesn't seem to bother anyone. You can see more muzzle flash when using a PVS-14, but it is still not bad. My S&W .357 Magnum on the other hand has very impressive flash, but certainly not "blinding".
