I was diognosed with dislexia in high school can i claime DLA?

about 2 years ago i had a test done as dislexia ran threw my familey and teachers were moaning at me for all my spelling mistakes ..... i sat a 2 hour test with numbers, leters, blocks, reading and writing i was then told that i had dislexia badly i was given a dislexia dictonary ... but the reson why no one ever really noticed was because my IQ was high for someone with dislexia ...... now it has started to effect my day to day life as i am jst starting college and i couldnt read or understand forms that i had to fill in i had to have somebody to help i also can not count i can only do my 1, 2, 4, 5 and 10 times tables yet i still have to use my fingers do add up simple questions like 13+8 .... would i be able to claime DLA to help me to get some proper equipment for someone with dislexia ?
