Can Part Of The Tragically Hips' Success Be Attributed To NOT Becoming Big In The US?

It hasn't made them more successful, but it has definitely made them more appreciated in Canada. They are Canada's band and that's the way it should stay :) They haven't sold out yet and I hope they never do!
