Stabbing like pains in lower abs? Braxton hicks?

I don't know about UTIs, but that sounds like round ligament pain to me. The first time I had that, I was on my hands and knees screaming for my husband to take me to the hospital because it hurt so badly... I thought I was dying. Braxton Hicks can be uncomfortable, but usually don't hurt. Real contractions should get stronger, more regular, and closer together with time, and you shouldn't be able to walk or talk through them.
