How can I remove mould spores and clean dirty marks from my canvas trailer tent and waterproof it?

I have an ageing trailer tent which is obviously stored outside (not garaged). It has some mould spores on it and smells a bit musty. It also has on it some dirty marks and grease splashes. How can I clean the canvas (not nylon) of the mould and marks and waterproof it aswell?
